Two Marion County residents are behind bars following two separate arrests. Police say Joseph Wise was arrested on Monday on charges of Failure to Appear. Latrez Johnson, also of Lebanon, was arrested early Tuesday morning on a warrant for Failure to Pay Restitution.
A Willisburg woman is facing charges after shoplifting from a local business. Lebanon Police say Leslie Elliott was arrested at Wal Mart on Monday. Elliott is charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking, under 500 dollars.
Lebanon Police are still searching for just under a thousand dollars in stolen property, after some of the items were recovered over the weekend. Police say the victim, a resident on Mays Lane in Lebanon, had $1250 in merchandise stolen from their residence on the 15th of August. An Xbox 360 and Ipad were placed on her doorstep late last week. Police are still searching for a 52″ Emerson TV, a 42″ TV, and another Ipad.
A Lebanon woman is in jail following an arrest at a local business over the weekend. Police say Angela Shewmaker was arrested at Woodlawn Grocery on Friday on a Failure to Appear Warrant out of Marion County. Shewmaker was lodged in the Marion County Detention Center.
Lebanon Police have recovered an iPhone stolen from a resident on Lee Ave. The iPhone, with an estimated value of 600 dollars, was recovered at Marion County High School on Thursday. No charges were filed in the incident.
Motorists needing access to Northbound I65 at the Exit 91 (Elizabethtown) interchange should be prepared to follow new signage beginning today. The Northbound I65 access ramp from Westbound WK Parkway is closed as widening and bridge construction along I65 progresses.
In order to access Northbound I65, follow detour signs which will result in traffic being directed through the interchange to merge onto Northbound I65 from Eastbound WK Parkway.
The stop condition at the end of the Northbound merge is eliminated with this change.
Motorists should be aware GPS devices may provide conflicting directions.
Three men were arrested in Marion County on various warrants. Lebanon Police say Jeremy Hicks of Campbellsville was jailed on a Taylor County warrant. Richard Coulter Jr of Campbellsville is in jail on a warrant out of Marion County, and Paul Price of LaGrange was arrested at a residence on Howard Ave on a warrant out of Shelby County, Kentucky. All were lodged in the Marion County Detention Center.
